Every Sunday at 9:20 and 11:00am
Helping middle schoolers develop a faith of their own.
We know the middle school years can be complicated. Students are growing up fast and need a place where they can learn how God sees them. Our goal is to create a community where every student knows they matter and belong. The road through middle school may be bumpy, but it doesn’t have to be lonely.
Saturday, April 12th and Sunday, April 13th
Double Dog Dare-a-Thon is an invest and invite event that takes place each spring. The goal is to provide students a fun opportunity to invite a friend to join them at Transit! Parents, this is the perfect opportunity for you and your student to start having conversations about who in their lives they would like to begin sharing their faith with.
How it works: Students invite a friend for a sleepover on Saturday, April 12th. They will need to register their team. At 7:00 p.m., the phone number they used to register will receive a text letting them know they can begin. Dare instructions and example videos will be sent to that number. After completing each challenge, teams will document their work with a photo and text it back for our judges to evaluate. Once the photo of a dare is received, teams will get a follow-up text with instructions for the next dare, and this continues until they complete the list of eight total dares.
At Transit the following morning (during your student’s regular service hour), the winners of each dare will be announced, celebrated, and receive a prize. There will also be other fun games and raffles. Every student has a chance to win!
July 14-18, 2024 at Cedarville University, Cedarville, OH
We have 70 middle school students headed to camp this summer! While we know that every week students are taking steps in their faith in our Transit environment, we also know that something incredible happens when students are able to unplug for a week. While at camp we will see students grow relationally with their small groups as they encourage and invest in each other and grow spiritually with their Heavenly Father who loves them!
Again this year we are trying to raise half ($200) of the cost ($400) to attend camp for each student registered to go to camp. The total amount we need to raise is $13,000.
If you would like to be a part of sending LifeHouse students to camp, use this form to make an online donation towards the Middle School Camp Fund. If you have a specific student(s) that you would like to donate to, you can add their name(s) at the bottom of this form. If the student(s) that you list is fully covered, your donation will go to other students.
